Attorney Martin’s dedication to research is evident in her case study on the criminal prosecution of pharmaceutical executives under the Federal Rico statute. Additionally, she authored a white paper addressing Maine’s practice of binding over juvenile offenders to adult criminal court, proposing legislation to grant juvenile offenders the right to file interlocutory appeals in such cases.
A former competitor in the Wechsler Criminal Law Moot Court, Attorney Martin achieved a top-ten ranking among thirty-four teams nationwide. This competition, dedicated to substantive criminal law topics, required participants to engage in extensive research, brief writing, and oral argumentation.
Before entering law school, Attorney Martin graduated cum laude from the University of Southern Maine Honors Program with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Marketing, with a minor in Public Relations.
A lifelong resident of Maine, Attorney Martin’s interests include travel, exploring new restaurants, spending quality time with her mini goldendoodle, Poppy, listening to old and new school rap music, and, when there’s time, curling up with a good nonfiction true-crime book.
